Music:

Jim Gallant Plays Guitar in the Afternoon
Jim Gallant's uptempo guitar music sets the mood in the afternoon.  Jim is a member of the Seacoast Guitar Society and was a featured artist in its first fingerstyle compilation CD.  In a review of Jim's CD "River Watch," Good Times music magazine's Ron Hart wrote that "Gallant ranks among some of the finest tunesmiths in the Northeast."  Ron Silverstein of 20th Century Guitar Magazine referred to Jim as "a gifted acoustic guitarist" whose "fretboard is both rhythmic and tuneful."  In 2003, New England Trekker declared Jim to be a "world class player."  Jim's latest CD, "Living the Dream," on the Outer Green label, is a collection of funny and heartfelt stories featuring some of the area's finest musicians. Most recently his song "The Don," about the 1941 boating tragedy off the coast of Maine, will be featured in an upcoming special on PBS.

Look for Jim in the gazebo between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. For more info or to contact Jim, click here to visit his website.
